System Overview

Wind Turbines are the most commonly known renewable energy solution & are normally associated with large commercial wind farms, seen in many parts of the country, at Alternative Energy Technology we can provide small to medium size wind turbines up to 10Kw (7m rotor diameter). There are various ways of using the electricity generated by a wind turbine, but most commonly the two main systems are stand alone battery systems or grid connect systems. At Alternative Energy Technology we recommend grid connected systems as they provide the highest efficiency in harnessing the wind energy & the simplest solution for you to operate. If you are interested in this type of energy saving then we need to monitor your proposed site for 12 – 18 months to ensure the wind speed is sufficient to make the investment worhtwhile.
