Biomass Boilers (Heat and Hot Water)

System Overview

At Alternative Energy Technology we recommend Wood Pellet Boilers as the most useable Biomass solution for small to medium size applications.

Wood pellets are automatically fed into a burner from a hopper via a feed screw. The burner heats water in a boiler which is then pumped around a circuit to heat water in a Thermal Store. The hot water in the Thermal Store is fed directly into the properties heating system as required & through a heating coil to provide hot water for the property.

These Biomass systems are most suited to rural properties that are not on gas mains.
