Loft Insultation

If loft insulation is less than 150mm in thickness, it should be upgraded to 270mm (usually consisting of one layer of 170mm and a 2nd layer of 100mm insulation).

This can be done by a competent DIYer with the minimum safety equipment consisting of a paper suit & a dust mask. Walk boards for support across the joists should also be used, however we recommend use of a professional installer.
